Primarily I work in person in my consulting room in Surbiton. However, the effectiveness of online and telephone therapy is proven and it has opened up many more people to therapy who may have struggled to attend therapy in-person for a number of reasons.
Normally we would be using the Zoom video platform. Confidentiality is respected and sessions are not recorded.
There are a number of factors to consider when setting up online therapy in order that the therapeutic setting is correct. These include ideally using a laptop, having the camera at eye height, ensuring the lighting is correct so that your face can be seen, distance from the camera, being undisturbed in a room with a closed door etc I can help with setting up these practical aspects so that the online therapeutic setting is just right.
If you are interested in setting up an initial consultation online please get in touch via my contact form.
